Personality guide

Can personality scores change?

Personality includes relatively stable patterns as well as variation across experience and context.

Key idea

A single result is not a lifelong identity. Roles, relationships, health, stress, and self-understanding can affect how you respond.

Try it in practice

A different score does not prove a sudden personality change or make one result ‘wrong’. The same tendency can appear differently across settings.

Use with care

To examine change, retake the same scale after a meaningful interval and record sleep, stress, and important events rather than comparing numbers alone.

Takeaway

Track practiced behaviors—setting boundaries, asking for help, keeping commitments—as well as scores.
